About Riverside Woods Nature Reserve
Another significant property has been added to the Bruce Trail conservation corridor in the Caledon Hills section. The former Goodyear Memorial Boy Scout Camp in the Town of Mono has been purchased from Scouts Canada. At 238 acres, this is one of the largest single purchases the BTC has made.
Located within the Hockley Valley region, adjacent to the Rushing River Nature Reserve, the Riverside Woods Nature Reserve is an exceptional natural sanctuary offering tremendous conservation value and restoration potential.
